So you think you know your mother well!

I read the following "joke" from a local chinese daily and thought it worth a thought and sharing with my readers on this belated mother's day.

Three brothers all very successful in their business and profession; were chatting after a reunion dinner for their mother's day celebration. And the topic turn to who love their mother the most
The eldest brother said," I bought mom a big house with garden, she love gardening, she will love it."

The second brother said, "I bought mom a Mercedes together and hire a driver to drive her around, she like travelling and visiting friends, she will love it."

The youngest son said, " I knew mom like to read bible, and I spend $120,000 a year for the last 10 years to ask few pastors of a church to train a parrot to memorize the bible. Momm's eyes is weak now, she cannot read the bible, so the parrot will be of great help, she just need to mention the verses, the parrot can raed it out for her. Isn't that wonderful? I knew she will love it!"

Months passed, they all were busy building their business and then mom sent each of them a letter on the gift they gave her on mother's day.

To her esldest son, the letter wrote, "You give me a big house with many rooms and big garden, but I can only sleep in one room and have to clean all the other rooms, too troublesome for an old lady."

To her second son, the letter wrote, " You gave me a big car with a driver, but most of my friends are no longer her and I seldom go out now. Besides, your driver got a bad attitude."

To her youngest son, she wrote, " You really know mom and I love your gift the most. The chicken you gave me, taste very nice!" :-)
